| Lining Technologies, Incorporated was created by an
employee buy-out of one division of The Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Company.
Stebbins, having been in the corrosion abatement field since 1884, has left us with a
legacy of broad experience and quality consciousness rarely found in the tank and pipe
lining business. Basically we are a relatively new (since 1983) employee owned corporation
formed out of an "old line" company. Our shop is a modern facility of 18,700 square feet located near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Within our facility are ovens that can handle large tanks for curing baked on coatings and linings. Our normal lift capacity is 35,000 pounds, but with special arrangements we can and have handled tankage weighing in excess of 80,000 pounds. Twelve foot diameter vessels can be moved about readily in our shop. Lining Technologies is particularly well known for our expertise in Kynar7 linings. We have lined over 65% of the Kynar 7 lined steel tankage that exist in the world today. The same high quality workmanship in our Kynar7 linings prevails throughout our product line. You will not find us applying "the newest thing on the market" as we are a conservative company. We do not carry out our "testing" in your production facility. New linings are tested and re-tested in our facility. We will not offer them to industry until we have proven to ourselves that they will work for you. Being involved with a wide variety of lining materials allows us to aid you in the lining selection process without bias. We do not attempt to "sell" you an expensive lining when one a fraction of the cost will perform well in your particular service conditions. |
